Installing the Braintrust Ltd. CA certificate

Follow the instructions below to install the Braintrust Ltd. CA certificate on your machine, to avoid the 'invalid certificate' type errors when using SSL with your e-mail.

Windows XP

  1. Ensure that you are using Internet Explorer
  2. Download the Root Certificate.
  3. In the window that opens, click the Open button.
  4. Click the Install Certificate button.
  5. Click the Next button.
  6. Select the Automatically select the certificate store... option and click Next.
  7. Click the Finish button.
  8. If you get a Security Warning window, click Yes to install the certificate.
  9. Click OK on the success message.
  10. Click the OK button to close the Certificate window.

Mac OS X

  1. Download the Root Certificate.
  2. Double-click the uncompressed braintrust-ca.pem file on your desktop.
  3. Keychain Access will launch, and you will be prompted to add the certificate to a keychain. From the drop-down box next to Keychain: choose X509 anchors.
  4. Click OK.
  5. You will be prompted to authenticate as a local system administrator. Log in with your local computer's system administrator account.
  6. Once authenticated, the certificate should be imported. Close Keychain Access.
